In Thursday’s Leader, the photo caption that ran with the story, “It’s mission alliance at the new Hope Center” on 1B was incorrect. The correct caption is The idea for Common Cup Ministry came about through a recommendation from the the Hutchinson Pastoral Association. With $500 in seed money from the group, the program opened for business in September 2002. One of the ministries of the nonprofit agency is providing winter coats to those who need them. With markdowns on winter merchandise taking place in local stores, Bev Bonte, left, went shopping. With bags of coats to fold, Bonte recruited volunteers Brenda Beckman, center, and Gladys Pilgrim, right, to help.
