Cleo, I’ve only seen that movie in its MST3K’d form and I thought it was hilarious. My wife remembers being scared by that movie when she was little. It is pretty darned weird.

Santa Claus Conquers the Martians is a good one but you really need the Mystery Science Theater version. On a more normal note, I too love A Christmas Story.
A Christmas Story is my all time favorite.
Also,I still enjoy the classics like Rudolph, Santa Clause Is Coming To Town, The Years Without Sana Clause, Frosty, Peanuts, and The Grinch Who Stole Christmas.
My favorite xmas movie is the one with a little kid that wants a red ryder bb gun for christmas, and his dad tells him he’ll shoot his eye out with one of them lol I don’t know if it’s name christmas story or what, but it’s a old movie now days.
Finally, someone else who enjoys the movie “A Chistmas Story” as much as I do. I too make sure that the TBS marathon is on over Christmas. Although many at the office think that I don’t like Christmas that much, its not entirely true. I just enjoy it in a shorter time period than retail has made it out to be. Probably from my long retail hours of past positions. Anyway, that has got to be the best. I will never forget the line “you’ll shoot your eye out”. That gets me every time. You can bet it will be on at my house for Christmas.
I love National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, but having grown up in the Culkin era, Home Alone is like a tradition to watch near Xmas in my family.
I always look forward to Linus telling the Christmas story in “A Charlie Brown Christmas”.
Being a mother and a kid at heart I have to add my favorites too. There’s Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman(gotta love those Rankin-Bass movies) and The Grinch Who Stole Christmas(both versions). I also have to agree with Kevin P that A Christmas Story is the best. I can’t wrap Christmas gifts anymore without the 24 hour marathon playing on TBS in the background. I even had the pleasure of seeing it originally in the theater.
All those movies bring back fond memories of Christmases past. *reminiscent sigh
“It’s a Wonderful Life” is my favorite, but Beth and I also have an annual tradition of watching “Beavis and Butthead Do Christmas.”
