In a new online poll conducted by Time magazine, the field for the 2008 presidential race is taking shape:

Leading Democrats: John Edwards (28 percent), Hillary Clinton (24 percent) and Barack Obama (23 percent).

Leading Republicans are Rudy Giuliani (40 percent), John McCain (36 percent) and Mitt Romney (6 percent).
