The 2008 Minnesota State Cattlemen’s Summer Tour and Trade Show is July 14-15 in Windom. The event is hosted b the Cottonwood Cattle Producers.

The trade show, as well as registration and meals, will take place in the Windom City Arena. The event will open July 14 with producers playing golf at the Sanborn Country Club, followed by a steak supper. A social is planned that evening at PJ’s Bar in Bingham Lake.

Two tours are planned for the morning and afternoon of July 15. Tours will stop at farms with feedlots for such breeds as Red Angus, Black Angus, Maine-Anjou, and Shorthorn. There will be cow-calf and large feedlot operations. The trade show will run 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and 4:30 p.m. through supper.
