Entries are now open for the 2008 Region 7 Youth Dairy Show set for Monday, June 16, at the McLeod County Fairgrounds in Hutchinson. The Youth Dairy Show is open to exhibitors between the ages of 8 and 21 years old the day of the show.
Entries can be made in both grade and registered divisions for the following breeds: Ayrshire, Brown Swiss, Guernsey, Holstein, Jersey, milking shorthorn, red and white, and crossbred. Purebred Dairy Cows Association class definitions and Code of Ethics will be in effect for this show.

All entries postmarked by June 1 are eligible for a $50 cash drawing. Late entries will accepted at an entry fee of $2 per head. Animals are to be brought to the McLeod County Fairgrounds between 7 p.m. June 15 and 9 a.m. June 16. Over $200 in cash prizes will be awarded to the youth exhibitors throughout the day of the show.
