Frank SinatraFrank SinatraOK, I'll be the first to admit I'm not a huge fan of Frank Sinatra. Dean Martin's easygoing style is more my speed. But, Sinatra was one heck of an actor and next Tuesday (May 13), fans of his work can blow their economic stimulus checks (don't tell me you already blew it!) as Warner Home Video releases nearly two dozen of his films on DVD. All at once. The releases will include: The Rat Pack Ultimate Collector's Edition • This includes four movies, "Ocean’s 11", "4 for Texas", "Robin and the 7 Hoods" and the never-before-on-video "Sergeants 3." • It also includes exclusive Rat Pack playing cards and a ton of other collectible swag. • It retails for $47.99. The Frank Sinatra & Gene Kelly Collection • This includes three musicals, "On the Town," "Take Me Out to the Ball Game," and "Anchors Aweigh." • It retails for $19.95. Frank Sinatra: The Early Years Collection • This one's got five movies: "Double Dynamite," "Higher and Higher," "It Happened in Brooklyn," "The Kissing Bandit" and "Step Lively." • It retails for $29.95. Frank Sinatra: The Golden Years Collection • Five movies on this one, too: "The Man with the Golden Arm," "Marriage on the Rocks," "None But the Brave, "Some Came Running" and "The Tender Trap." • It retails for $29.95 (Jorge Sosa is a staff writer for the Hutchinson Leader.
