Hundreds of people who enjoy seeing how farming was done decades ago braved some oppressive heat and humid Saturday, Aug. 11, to visit the 28th annual Heatwole Threshing Show near Hutchinson. They were treated to seeing an estimated 180 vintage tractors, including about 70 International Harvester tractors, many of which competed in the a 12-class tractor pull. By Sunday, cooler temperatures and drier air made things more tolerable for participants and visitors. Included with this are photos shot both days by Hutchinson Leader photographer Terry Davis. </p>
