Adult Basic Education on hiatus until July 13

Hutchinson Adult Basic Education courses offered in Room 145 of Ridgewater College are now on summer break through July 12.

Classes resume at 9 a.m. Monday, July 13, including free courses for English Your Second Language, GED Preparation, basic computer skills or general refresher for fall college classes. They take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 5 to 8 p.m. GED testing will take place in late July for English and Spanish testers.

Beginning computer classes also begin July 13, from 9 to 10:30 a.m.

The GED Celebration for those who achieved their GED during the 2008-2009 school year is set for 7 p.m. Aug. 13, in Ridgewater’s auditorium. Graduates wanting to participate should call (320) 234-8507 to leave their name and number of expected guests.
