SLIDESHOW: Harrington-Merrill House Quilt Auction

Twenty-one quilts were donated by Lynette Jensen's Thimbleberries Studio, attracting bidders in-person and online. Online buyers ranged from New Mexico to Maine and Canada.

Auctioneer Jim Fahey's rapid-fire delivery was peppered with sly humor. While cajoling bidders to not be shy, Fahey declared, "This is not eBay. I am the real thing."
