Crow River Arts to sponsor writing contest

Crow River Arts is sponsoring a writing contest. The entry categories are: poetry, prose and short story. Writers must keep their content to 500 words or less. Submissions must be appropriate for all ages, free of bad language or mature subject matter. The category should be stated at the top of the submission. The winners will have their work published in the ArtBeat and receive a $50 cash prize. The deadline to submit entries is Jan. 30. Mail entries to: CRA Writing Contest, P.O.
