Although holiday shopping doesn’t officially begin until “Black Friday,” the day after Thanksgiving, there’s no harm in looking — and tasting.The best place to do this is at the Hutchinson Ambassadors’ Holiday Sampler, Thursday, Nov. 12, at the Hutchinson Event Center. This is the 14th year of the event, which introduces holiday décor, food, drink, gifts and services from local vendors to the public. “Tickets have sold out the past two years, so buy your tickets early," said Megan Peterson, marketing specialist, for the Hutchinson Area
Chamber of Commerce and Convention and Visitors Bureau. Tickets are $8 in advance at the Chamber office, or from an Ambassador, or $10 at the door, if available.
