Prospective students, business owners exploring customized training options for employees and the general public will all find something of interest when Ridgewater College has its second annual College Showcase open house next week.
The open houses, from 4 to 7 p.m., take place Tuesday, Sept. 23, at Hutchinson and Thursday, Sept. 25 at Willmar.
The College Showcase is an event planned with the community in mind, according to Sam Bowen, the Ridgewater’s marketing director.
“We want to show the campuses to the communities because we exist for the communities,” he said. “I believe people who have never visited the schools will be absolutely amazed about what is offered out here.”
People attending can enjoy complimentary refreshments, have an opportunity to visit with students and instructors, participate in an informative mini-info session, or take tours of the campus. In addition, Ridgewater’s fine arts will be on display.
The Hutchinson campus concert choir will perform with The Rose Ensemble, a Twin Cities recording group, in three 25-minute presentations at 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.
