High school BPA team does well in national competition

Hutchinson’s Business Professionals of America team gave a strong performance at the BPA’s June 17-21 National Leadership Conference.

Dallas hosted the conference, where four students placed in the top ten. The local students’ results are listed below.

Melissa Dodge: database applications, ninth place; fundamental accounting, second place
Jordan Duesterhoeft: fundamental word processing, fifth place
Brian Holtberg: fundamental accounting, 11th place
Tina James: basic office systems and procedures, 12th place; fundamental word processing, seventh place
Megan Menth: keyboarding production, 19th place
Tim Olson: digital media production, 10th place
Tim Olson and Holly Burley: video production team, did not place in top 10
Katie Sickmann: fundamental word processing, 24th place
