4-Hers named to state fair list

A dozen McLeod County girls were selected to the State Fair Line Up during the annual 4-H Fashion Revue July 29 at Hutchinson’s Peace Lutheran Church.

Contestants were evaluated in purchased clothing and constructed clothing categories on such criteria as general appearance and design of the outfit and the learning involved in selecting the garments.
The state fair lineup in purchased clothing includes: 1. Ashley Lukes, 2. Alicia Ku
hlmann, 3. Rachel Jergens, 4. Miriam Unseth, 5. Kelsey Buss, 6. Katie Matthews, 7. Maggie Krull, 8. Emily Popelka, 9. Madeline Kuehn, and 10. Katie Eggert.

Constructed clothing state fair qualifiers include: 1. Kuhlmann, 2. Lukes, 3. Shelby Fasching, 4. Kuehn and 5. Paige Hausladen.

The Public Revue at the McLeod County Fair begins at 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 17, in the Corporate Tent.
