The McLeod Alliance for Victims of Domestic Violence is displaying a can-do attitude toward fundraising this month.
Through the end of October, the group is collecting aluminum cans in a bin off Main Street, in the southwest corner of the ShopKo parking lot. The bin was donated by McLeod County Solid Waste Management in honor of October being National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
Proceeds from recycling the cans will help families affected by violence in their homes.
Year-round, the McLeod Alliance is one of many nonprofits you can support by dropping cans off at the county’s recycling center at 1065 Fifth Ave. S.E., in Hutchinson. Anyone can choose to forgo their can-recycling refund and have it sent to one of many local charitable groups.

Back to page topI drove by it today and thought it looked pretty good as far as can collection trailers go. I'm not sure what your expectations are - chrome wheels maybe? I believe they are a non-profit organization that perhaps could use some voluntary assistance. If it bothers you that much maybe you could volunteer your time and/or money and spiff it up a little.
Who taught you how to spell?...

Back to page topSounds to me that you have had a run-in with the folks from the McLeod Alliance and by the tone of your comments regarding your ex-wife, it is pretty obvious you have. Personally, I think she did well to rid herself of you. Also, I have to agree that you need to familiarize yourself with a dictionary.
