Prices received by Minnesota farmers for Corn for October averaged $3.40 per bushel, an increase of $0.23 from the September price according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, National Agricultural Statistics Service, Minnesota Field Office.
Soybeans were up $0.11 to an October price of $9.65 per bushel.
The all hog price for October was $38.70 per cwt., a decrease of 60 cents from the September price.
The all beef cattle price for October was $72.30 per cwt., a decrease of $1.20 from the September price.
The all milk price for October, at $14.30 per cwt., was up 50 cents from September.
The preliminary U.S. All Farm Products Index of Prices Received by Farmers in October, at 135 percent, based on 1990-92=100, increased 9 points (7.1 percent) from September. The Crop Index is up 11 points (7.7 percent) and the Livestock Index increased 1 point (0.9 percent).
