Latest Blog PostsApril's MomMay 11, 2008 - 1:50pm — Kathy Ghost hunterI write about are true stories of the supernatural that I personally have experienced. Sometimes there is more to the story then I tell about. With Mothers Day coming up I thought this would be the best time to tell this about this case. HELP!! LOST CHIHUAHUA/RAT TERRIER!!! 5/9/08May 10, 2008 - 3:24pm — dar_mar01HELP PLEASE!!! My name is Darcy Martin and I recently moved to Hutchinson over the past summer after my parents sadly passed away. I was at a garage sale on Texas Ave., between California and Minnesota St.'s, on 5/9/08, and my little 5-6lb., black and white Chihuahua/Rat Terrier mix dog got out of my truck!!! Who does this get reported to??May 9, 2008 - 5:24pm — MOVEONI know of a person who can't pay the bills and does not know how to budget money. He will get any credit card he can, max it to the limit and won't pay. He will be a car, make a couple payments, then it gets repocessed. The question I have is, who needs to get contacted when this guy is using his kids social and other information to get cell phones, utilities and so fourth because his credit is poor. These kids will grow up with horrible credit by the time they are 16 or so. They won't be able to get their own cell phone or a loan for a car if their parents are recking their credit now. Something to tide you overMay 9, 2008 - 10:24am — Jorge SosaHey there faithful readers: I am going to be away from the office these next two weeks, so my film blog will fall eerily silent. Never fear — if you get bored, you can just watch this video of kittens at play over and over again. See, the one kitten loves sitting in the tissue box so much, he refuses to let his siblings have a go at it. Who's more easily amused? The kittens with their tissue box? Or us humans who actually just sit and watch them? Hmmm ... The season opener is here!May 9, 2008 - 9:21am — Eric KrausharAll week long I've been counting down the five most exciting moments from last season's Hutchinson Huskies season. Finally, today, we get to No. 1 on the heels of the season opener with Cold Spring. Game time is 7:30 p.m. Come out and support the squad all season long. Moment No. 1: Region track honor roll (5/8)May 8, 2008 - 12:11pm — Eric KrausharArea Track Honor Roll (as of 5/5) Boys 200 meter dash 400 meter run Moment No. 2/Umpiring 101May 8, 2008 - 10:50am — Eric KrausharNo. 2 moment from 2007 Huskies starter Corey Ryks was lifted for ace Adam Padrnos to begin the inning. Manager Lee Kuhl said with the Saints coming through the batting order for the third time, he wanted to change the look up. The Saints weren’t fooled. CLASSIC MOVIE CORNER: 'Mad Max' (1979)May 8, 2008 - 10:25am — Jorge Sosa
MPAA Rating: R The Gist: When the going gets tough, this tough guy goes psycho. A pile of Sinatra films coming to DVDMay 7, 2008 - 3:18pm — Jorge Sosa
But, Sinatra was one heck of an actor and next Tuesday (May 13), fans of his work can blow their economic stimulus checks (don't tell me you already blew it!) as Warner Home Video releases nearly two dozen of his films on DVD. All at once. Counting down to the opener: No. 3May 6, 2008 - 9:55pm — Eric KrausharMoment No. 3 For the first time in five years, Hutchinson beat the Dassel-Cokato Saints, 4-3. The hero again was Justin Juergensen, who drove in the tying and winning runs in the seventh inning on one of his two doubles in the game. “When you hit behind guys like Tim Thode and Luke Klitzke, it seems like you always have a chance to drive in runs. I guess it comes down to being in the right spot at the right time,” he said. |
