The American Red Cross has scheduled the following blood drive in May:
• 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, at GFW High School, North Cottonwood Street in Winthrop.

Donors must be at least 17 years old and must weigh at least 110 pounds. All blood types are needed to ensure a reliable supply. A blood donor card or drivers license, or two other forms of identification are required at check-in.

Western Fraternal Life Lodge Lumir will have a potluck and business meeting Tuesday, May 20, at the Komensky School, 19981 Major Avenue, Hutchinson. Supper will begin at 6:30 p.m., and the business meeting will be called to order at 7:30 p.m. by President Jan Urban. Members are asked to bring can tabs for the Ronald McDonald project and cancelled stamps for the state WFLA project.
