I am utterly dismayed that Mr. Steve Dille is wasting tax payer dollars evaluating and entertaining the idea that spending money to pave the Luce Line Trail is a good idea.

Rep. Shimanski had a meeting 3+ months ago that Mr. Dille didn't both to show up at see that the public is not in favor of this. The best part about the meeting was the gentlemen whom stated "I can only bike 2-3 miles as the trail is today and could bike 5-6 miles if it was paved." Hello.....is anyone home!!!!! You are getting exercise as it is today.

The ONLY city in favor of this is Hutchinson which is one of the cities with the HIGHEST property taxes in the state. If you are going to be good at something it isn't on how to spend other people's money.

This message is for Mr. Dille - I have been a longtime voter for you. You have been a solid common sense person but this somehow escapes you. I cannot continue to support you with my vote if you support paving of the Luce Line.

Leave the Luce Line as it is today.....natural and without additional tax dollars being wasted.

If you want to pave something lets try working on Highway 7!!!!

Lets see if I got this right...A group of State Senators traveling around Minnesota at taxpayer expense to learn how to cut spending. Does anyone else see a problem with this program?
Leave the trail as it is. Upgrade our roads, health care, schools, and work on the energy problems. Then, move on to the trails...if you are still in office.

Instead of spending money to pave the trail maybe it would be better spent fixing our roads and bridges. I would rather see the money go towards preserving and developing the Greanleaf state park.
