It's true that Jack

It's true that Jack Nelson-Pallmeyer has a relaxed and personal style that resonates well with Minnesotans. He is one of the nicest guys I have ever met. But what really attracts me to his Senate campaign is the substance. He showed courage and foresight in his eloquent opposition to the Iraq war before it started, even advising Wellstone to vote against it. Jack understands that the true danger confronting us is global warming and our dependence on foreign oil. He understands that investment in sustainable energy will create new jobs and help save our planet at the same time. Jack is truly a candidate with courage, integrity and vision. I look forward to having him as my Senator.

His candidacy was at one time something of an afterthought in the eyes of most Minnesotans and political observers, but Jack Nelson-Pallmeyer is now viewed as something of a second-coming of another college professor-turned-politician: Paul Wellstone. He didn’t run from the comparison Thursday during a two-hour stop in Hutchinson.
