Kidman to play outed CIA agent, MTV's report censored

Valerie Plame and Nicole KidmanNicole Kidman is set to play Valerie Plame in a forthcoming biopic about the former CIA agent, according to MTV Movies.

Director Doug Liman (“The Bourne Identity,” “Mr. and Mrs. Smith,” “Jumper”) is set to direct the film. Ironically, MTV's report on why Liman's a good choice for the job appears to have been censored.

The MTV report states, “That Doug Liman himself is attached to the project is something of a surprise all by itself, but a perfect fit, the 'Jumper' director said, based on his history working with [REDACTED]…his training in [REDACTED]…and, above all, his unique approach to the material.”

I don't know about you, but I'm dying to know what's so darned secret about Liman's past. Is Liman secretly an assassin like Brad Pitt in Liman's film “Mr. and Mrs. Smith?”

Or did someone connected to the Plame biopic prematurely leak clues about the way the film is going to made?

Or is this is just some kind of sneaky viral marketing to whip up publicity for the project?

Incidentally, the Liman family is closely familiar with White House scandals. Doug's dad was the chief counsel for the Senate Iran-Contra affair back in the 1980s.

So what do all you conspiracy buffs out there think about this :-) ?
