James Bond's $36-million ride

My other car is an Aston MartinFord has negotiated a $36 million deal for its diminutive Ka Zetec Climate to appear in the forthcoming Bond film, “Quantum of Solace.”

Daniel Craig will appear behind the wheel of this teeny econobox, Bond fan site MI6 reports, although “James Bond fans will be relieved to know that the famous Aston Martin DBS will be the car of choice.”

Don't worry if you've never heard of the Ka, as Ford only sells it in Europe and Latin America.

It was, however, named by a Ford executive in Boston who saw early production designs for it and said, “That's one tiny Ka!” Get it? He's from Boston! It's a joke!

Oh, never mind.
