It has been reported that charitable giving is lower than during the great depresion. Why? We are still the richest country in the world. Is it as simple as saying it's the price of gas. Or is it our "ME" attitude. We still buy $3 mochas and $1.5 water in a plastic bottle. We all have cell phones, at a price. IPODS, at a price. Dish TV at a price. Year round sports, at a price. If we the people of this great nation are unwilling to help those less fortunite than us. God help us. What goes around comes around.

Alright I see where this is...
Back to page topAlright I see where this is going. And I agree.
I was into the tech frenzy in the late 90's, hell, I remember when 800Mz wsa crazy fast, I remember the internet in college in 1996.
Now technology is so diversified. All they have created is nicities.
Only like 10% of the US poulation have cellphones.
Tech companies come out with new gadgets and people like them because it's something they've never had before or have done before. And I would like to know are we ever satisfied with gadgets, and do we feel we got our monies worth?
I think maybe people don't feel they're getting their monies worth when donating. We can be frugal and hope someone else will pitch in more than I could ever give.
