I think the most likely ticket for the Democrats is Barack Obama as the presidental candidate with Hilary Clinton as his running mate.

Obviously Rudy Giuliani would be a strong candidate for the Republicans with his popularity from New York.

With the Democrats controlling the House and Senate now, it will be very important that the Republicans have a better showing in '08.

Sen. John McCain is considered a maverick. His hero is Teddy Roosevelt. He said one of the funniest lines I've heard from a politician.

A year after "No Child Left Behind" passed, Congress passed a new budget. McCain coined it, "No Lobbyist Left Behind."
He does an annual pork barrel report, which has angered people on both sides.

If he is considered conservative enough to get the Republican nomination, he could win. He has the best resume.

My guess is that Hillary edges out Obama. Edwards as the frontrunner should last for about another 7 minutes or so.

The republican race is a coin flip, and I would assume that the one that gets the nod will take the other as the VP candidate.

The question is: Who will run as an independant, and who will they take votes from?

When I was young, I thought I was a republican, But when I grew older, I realized, I'm definitely democrat. I will vote for the best democrat. I like Hillary, she seems to have things in order, and knows what she wants. Changes for the better is always good.

When I was young I knew I was a Republican, because I was raised with Republican morals. Now that I am middle aged, I know for sure I am a Republican because I would not ever stand for anything the democrats stand for. Big government and take control of people lives. I am who I am today because I have worked for it. Not because I cried please help me and took government money. I believe that you recieve things in life by working for them not having uncle sam give them to you and support you. Hillary is a fake! People say look at Bill he was so great. Well in his second term unemployment was the highest the country has ever seen. We were heading into a recession because he was more intrested in other things. I am not for higher taxes and more government. I am for lower taxes and less government, Or you could be like Bill Clinton and cut the military in half to save money and try to balance the budget,But on the other hand social programs were at there highest funding ever. As an american I would take a large military over large social programs. But that is typical of the democrats they just do not understand the world we live in now. You make the kind of country you want in 08 when you vote.
